Super scoring SAT

Hey guys, recently got my SAT scores back and they're not terrible, but not great either. What I'm really concerned about is, do most colleges accept your best SAT scores from different test dates. It would be a relief if they do super-score the results.

Yes, many colleges indeed practice "Super Scoring" for SAT results. This refers to the process where colleges take your highest section scores, even if they're from different test dates, and compile them for a new, "super" total.

However, it's important to note that not all colleges and universities adhere to this practice. Some schools might consider your highest overall score from a single test sitting, rather than splitting them up. Additionally, others may look at all of your scores in a holistic manner.

To be certain, it's best to research the specific testing policies of each college you're applying to. You can typically find this information on their admissions webpage or by contacting their admissions office directly. Also, consider that the importance of SAT scores varies by school, some institutions might emphasize them while others might not, especially in the wake of the test-optional trend.

Finally, remember not to stress too much on the scores. They are an important element of your academic profile, but colleges also assess other aspects of your application such as grades, extracurriculars, essays, letters of recommendation, and more. Good luck with your applications!
