High paying jobs that require the least amount of schooling?

Hey guys, I know many of us are wrapped up in the college application process, but out of curiosity, are there any high paying jobs out there that require the minimum amount of schooling or educational requirement? Just exploring all my options, thanks!

Certainly! The path to a high income doesn't always go through a 4-year college degree. Here are a few careers you can consider:

1. Air Traffic Controller: This job requires a two-year associate's degree or three years of work experience. You'll also need to attend the Federal Aviation Administration academy. Despite these requirements, the median annual wage for air traffic controllers is very high.

2. Real Estate Broker: No degree is required to become a property broker; all that's needed is a state license, which you can get after a short course and passing an exam.

3. Radiation Therapist: An associate degree in radiation therapy can let you work in the medicine field with a solid income. Radiation therapists operate machines to treat patients with cancer.

4. Commercial Pilot: Commercial pilots need a high school diploma and a license from the Federal Aviation Administration. Some pilots opt for a 2-year program at an aviation school.

5. Nuclear Power Reactor Operator: They operate or control nuclear reactors, with only a high school diploma required, although they do need extensive on-the-job training.

Remember, jobs that require less education typically require more on-the-job experience and training. The nature of the job market is such that the more specialized the skills, the higher the pay. Hence, many high-paying jobs requiring limited education often require specialized training or skills. Prioritize finding a career path that aligns with your passion and skillset.
