Dropout statistics?

Hello! I'm doing a research essay for my AP Stats class about high school dropout rates. I'm curious - who is statistically least likely to drop out of high school? I'm looking for demographics or other factors like participation in extracurriculars, etc.

Several studies point to some factors associated with lower high school dropout rates:

1. Parental Education Levels: Students whose parents have higher levels of education, particularly a college degree, are typically less likely to drop out of high school.

2. Socioeconomic Status: Data often shows that students from higher socioeconomic statuses are less likely to drop out. Wealthier and middle-class neighborhoods usually have lower dropout rates than their lower-income counterparts.

3. Gender: On average, the dropout rate is typically lower for female students in comparison to their male counterparts.

4. Race/Ethnicity: According to the National Center for Education Statistics, Asian students have the lowest dropout rate, followed by White, Hispanic, and Black students.

5. Participation in extracurricular activities: This is another positive factor.
