International Studies: Most economical colleges in the world?

As an open-minded student, I'm considering studying abroad not only for the cultural experience, but also perhaps for cheaper tuition. Which schools around the world have the most affordable fees?

If you're open to different global regions, some universities in Europe and Asia offer affordable, quality higher education for international students.

In Europe, many universities in Germany offer free or very low-cost tuition to all students, even non-EU ones. Similarly, universities in Norway and Iceland do not charge tuition fees for international students. However, the cost of living is relatively high in these countries, so you should consider this when planning your budget. Schools to consider include Technical University of Munich in Germany and University of Oslo in Norway.

In Asia, universities in Taiwan and China are known for their relatively low tuition and cost of living, especially when compared to universities in the United States or United Kingdom. Look at National Taiwan University in Taiwan or Peking University in China for affordable options.

Keep in mind that scholarships and financial aid opportunities for international students might be more limited than for domestic students, so you would want to investigate these possibilities as well. Always confirm the current tuition and fees directly with the universities you are interested in because these could and do change annually.
