Friendliest HBCUs?

Hi all, I'm looking for schools with not just a vibrant black community but also a warm and welcoming environment overall. Could any of you shed some light on which HBCUs are known for their friendly campuses? Looking forward to your responses!

Sure, I'd be glad to share some information on this topic.

One of the schools that frequently comes up when discussing friendly HBCU campuses is Spelman College. Spelman is often praised for its close-knit community and nurturing environment. As a women's college, Spelman is also known for empowering its students.

Another HBCU that often receives praise for its friendly environment is Howard University. Howard's campus environment is often described as welcoming, and the university is well-known for its vibrant and active campus life.

Bennett College is also another HBCU to consider. This is a small women's HBCU known for its community-oriented and supportive environment.

Xavier University of Louisiana also has a reputation for its friendly and supportive campus community. In fact, Xavier is renowned for its family-like atmosphere and tight-knit student body.

Tuskegee University, in Alabama, is another HBCU known for its friendly campus environment. With a small student body, Tuskegee University offers intimate class sizes and a strong sense of community.

Remember though, your mileage may vary, and it's always a good idea to visit, if possible, or speak to students or alumni directly to get a better feel for the campus environment. Also, this is not an exhaustive list, and many other HBCUs could also have the friendly, welcoming environment you're looking for.
