California High Schools and Student Athletes

I'm really into my sports and hope to continue this in high school. I've heard that California high schools send a lot of athletes to college. Does anyone have insights on which California high schools have the greatest number of student-athletes?

There definitely are high schools in California that have strong athletics and regularly send athletes to compete in college. However, I would caution against choosing a school primarily for its track record in getting students recruited for college athletics. It's important to consider a number of factors, such as academic fit, social climate, and available facilities, in addition to the sports programs.

That said, notable Californian high schools with robust sports programs are De La Salle High School in Concord, Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, and St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower. These schools excel across multiple sports and many of their students go on to compete at the college level.
