High schools with most Nobel Laureates: any insights?

Hello everyone, I'm a junior right now and have recently become curious about the educational backgrounds of Nobel laureates. Are there certain high schools that have had a lot of laureates as alumni? Wondering how much of an impact high school education has on such success.

There's a lot of emphasis placed on the role of high schools in shaping the success of their students, so I completely understand your curiosity! However, it's not common practice to track and rank high schools based on the number of Nobel laureates they've produced. It's also important to understand that a host of factors beyond high school could influence the path of a future laureate, such as their individual ambition, their mentors, their undergraduate and graduate education, and the opportunities they had to do innovative work. Therefore, if a certain high school has produced multiple Nobel laureates, it may be more coincidental than causative.

That being said, a few high schools are notable for having multiple laureates among their alumni. For instance, the Bronx High School of Science in New York has a significant number of Nobel laureates (8 in total, mostly in Physics and Chemistry). This school is a public magnet school known for its rigorous science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum.

Then there's Liceo Classico "T. Tasso", a public high school in Rome, known for having a few Nobel laureates too, such as Enrico Fermi and Emilio G. Segrè.
