Who's the Most Passionate College Football Fan?

Hello! Just out of curiosity, have you guys seen a college football fan that seriously impressed you with their fandom? They could be famous or somebody from your own college, doesn't matter. Just share why they stood out! Thanks.

There are countless passionate college football fans, each with their unique expressions of fandom. However, one story that stands out is of Michigan’s superfan, Hunter Lochmann. Lochmann has attended every Michigan home football game since he was 8 years old – a streak spanning over three decades! His dedication to the team is unquestionable, considering his continual support throughout the ups and downs. His house is filled with Michigan memorabilia, demonstrating his unwavering pride for his team.

However, his passion reaches beyond just attendance and collection of merchandise. Lochmann worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for athletics at the University of Michigan from 2010-2015. This allowed him to combine his professional skills with his personal passion for Michigan football. As a result, throughout his tenure, he developed the “Valiant” campaign that further increased fan engagement and connection with the team.

Even in defeat, Lochmann remains an ardent supporter of his team, often citing the unwavering spirit and camaraderie that college football fosters. His dedication and passion for Michigan football have only grown stronger over the years, truly making him a standout fan.
