What are the most academically fun colleges?

So I basically want a college that strikes a balance between rigorous academics and some fun too. Any recommendations on colleges that manage to keep academics engaging and enjoyable? Your insights would be helpful in my college selection.

One college that springs to mind is the University of Chicago. UChicago is known for its Core Curriculum, which encourages discussion and critical thinking. Although the academics are intensive, the university nonetheless promotes a culture of "fun."
