Who are some of the most intelligent people in history who went to college?

Hey everyone, I'm about to start applying to colleges soon and I just wanted to take a moment to consider who some of the most intelligent people throughout history were that went to college. I think it's really inspiring and motivating to see what these incredible minds accomplished after their time in higher education, and it gets me excited about my own potential future. So, who are some famous intellectuals that graduated from college and what did they accomplish?

There are indeed many inspirational figures who have emerged from the collegiate environment and have accomplished remarkable feats. Here are a few examples:

Starting off with Albert Einstein: this brilliant physicist, best known for developing the theory of relativity, is widely considered one of the most influential physicists of the 20th century. Einstein attended the Polytechnic Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, where he graduated in 1900.

Then you have Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an extraordinary legal mind, who graduated from Cornell University and then Columbia Law School. Ginsburg served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1993 until her death in 2020 and was instrumental in advocating for gender equality and women's rights.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a pivotal figure in the civil rights movement, also pursued higher education. Dr. King received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Morehouse College and a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Crozer Theological Seminary.
