Looking for most politically neutral colleges

I'm a bit overwhelmed with the political climate right now and I want my college experience to be a kin of escape from that. Does anyone have ideas about the most politically neutral colleges?

Sure, I understand where you're coming from and there are indeed colleges that have reputations for having more politically moderate student bodies. I'd look into these places:

1. Case Western Reserve University: This research university, located in Cleveland, Ohio, is notably apolitical. While there are politically active students, they are not the majority, so you won't feel overwhelmed by politics.

2. Purdue University: Located in Indiana, this big state school is often seen as politically moderate, with an emphasis on STEM which may explain the less political atmosphere.

3. University of Notre Dame: Also in Indiana, Notre Dame's student body leans conservative, but isn't overwhelmingly political in nature. It's a shared sense of love for the school and its traditions that seems to unite this student body the most.

4. Brigham Young University: This university in Provo, Utah, is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has a conservative reputation, but the focus here is largely religious rather than political.

5. University of Chicago: In a deeply blue city, UChicago stands out as being committed to academic freedom and open discourse, promoting a balanced political atmosphere. While certainly there are political discussions, they are in the spirit of intellectual exploration, rather than activism.

Remember, it's also what you make of it. Just about any campus is going to offer a range of views and experiences, and your experience will be influenced by who you decide to spend time with and what activities you decide to pursue.
