Which degrees are most common among millionaires?

Was reading some articles about billionaires and millionaires, and it made me wonder-what are the most popular college degrees earned by millionaires? I'm not choosing my major based on this, just genuinely curious. Maybe it's a fun fact I can drop in a conversation someday. Any insights?

Well, it's an interesting question! According to several studies, the most common degrees among millionaires and billionaires actually span a wide range of fields.

Engineering tops the list in many cases, as it equips individuals with high levels of problem-solving skills and often leads to high-earning professions or successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Business and economics are also very popular. A background in these fields provides broad knowledge of operation and management strategies, financial principles, and other essential aspects for running a successful company or investment portfolio.

Other common degrees include mathematics, computer science, and even liberal arts degrees. The latter might sound surprising, but liberal arts encourages holistic thinking, which can be beneficial in decision-making and leadership roles.

Remember, while these studies might provide some interesting insight, the path to wealth is not solely determined by one's major choice. It involves a complex mix of factors like entrepreneurship, smart investments, strong work ethic, and a bit of luck. So, while this "fun fact" might serve as intriguing conversation-starter, it's important not to overlook the value of passion and personal interest when making academic and career decisions.
