Turn towards Spirituality

Lately, I've been thinking more about the role of spirituality and religion in my life, and I think I might want to get involved in a college ministry. Does anyone know which universities have the most popular or active ministries?

Sure, several colleges have active campus ministry groups! Campus ministries aren't usually ranked, but I can list a few universities known for having vibrant spiritual communities.

- The University of Notre Dame has Campus Ministry, which is a Catholic organization but also accommodates students of other faiths.

- Boston College has a strong Campus Ministry that offers retreats, immersion trips, and other spiritual opportunities to students.

- Georgetown University, being a Jesuit institution, heavily integrates faith into its community and offers numerous retreats, faith-based groups, and worship opportunities.

- Brigham Young University has a predominantly Latter-Day Saints student body due to its affiliation with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

- Baylor University in Texas, has a vibrant spiritual community, which is quite inclusive and active, considering its Baptist roots.

- Pepperdine University, as a Christian university, offers various programs through their Office of Spiritual Life.

Just remember, the size of the ministry doesn't always correlate with the amount of activity or engagement. And while these schools have strong religious communities, there are many universities across the U.S. with active ministry groups. In the end, it's all about finding the right fit for you. It could be beneficial to reach out to current students or alumni to get a sense of what spiritual life is like at a particular school.
