I'm part of the class of 2024 and I've been hearing a lot about student population sizes with respect to Covid-19. So, which colleges are expected to have the most students for our batch?
The colleges with the largest student body are usually large public universities. Per the National Center for Education Statistics, some of the universities that traditionally have large student bodies are The Ohio State University, Texas A&M, the University of Central Florida, and the University of Texas at Austin.
However, because of the ongoing changes due to Covid-19, the exact numbers for class of 2024 across these colleges might vary. Factors such as students opting for gap years, the availability of online classes, and the capacity for on-campus housing due to social distancing requirements may alter the usual numbers.
I would advise reaching out to the admissions office of these and any other universities you're interested in. They should be able to provide you with accurate information about the size of their current freshman class.
