When is the peak college vacation time in April?

I'm trying to plan out my schedule in advance. Could anyone let me know what weeks in April are traditionally most popular for college students to take vacations? I'm not sure if it varies by college or if there's a general trend. Thanks!

There isn't a universal "college vacation time" in April that applies to all colleges and universities. However, college students traditionally have a break known as Spring Break, which is a week-long break that typically takes place during March or very early April. The timing of Spring Break can vary quite a bit, depending on the institution's academic calendar.

In April, one key time that sees some students taking time off is the week surrounding Easter, which can change dates each year. Some schools schedule a long weekend for Easter, provided it falls during the term. Many students use this long weekend as a mini-vacation.

Outside of these windows, April is generally a busy month for college students, as it is often the last full month of the semester, and students are preparing for final projects, papers, and exams in May. So, while individual students or groups may decide to take personal vacation time in April, it's not a broadly recognized time of vacation in U.S. higher education.
