Recent founded colleges

Hey everybody! Anyone know of any colleges that have been founded recently? I'm interested in the idea of being part of a new school, but I'm not sure where to find information about this. Thanks in advance!

Hello! Glad to know you're considering being part of a new educational institution. It can be an exciting experience to be part of a new endeavor and help shape its future. Here are a few colleges that are relatively recent:

1. Soka University of America - Founded in 2001, Soka University of America is a small liberal arts college located in Aliso Viejo, California. The school is known for its high student satisfaction ratings and commitment to global citizenship.

2. Florida Polytechnic University - Founded in 2012, it is the newest member of the State University System of Florida. It's located in Lakeland, Florida, and is dedicated solely to STEM programs.

3. Minerva Schools at KGI - Founded in 2014 and based in San Francisco, California, Minerva Schools at KGI is known for its innovative curriculum and educational model which includes intense seminar-style classes and global immersion.

4. Arizona State University's Lake Havasu Campus - Opening its doors in 2012, this campus offers a unique experience in a small campus setting.

5. Western Governors University - While not extremely recent (founded in 1997), it's worth mentioning because of its unique setup. It's an online university designed for working adults, emphasizing competency-based education.

Please keep in mind that newer universities do have their own sets of challenges, such as less established alumni networks, and it may take some time for them to gain accreditation. However, they can also offer unique opportunities and experiences that traditional, older schools might not. It's key to research thoroughly into any institution you're considering and determine if it aligns with your academic and future goals. Best of luck with your search!
