What's the most pursued college degree?

Hey all, I'm seeing a whole lot of different degree options out there, and I'm just wondering, what's the most commonly pursued college degree? Like, what do most students typically go for? Is it something practical like Business or something more niche?

In terms of sheer numbers, Business and related majors are consistently among the most pursued college degrees nationwide. Degrees like Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance attract a large number of students due to the broad range of career possibilities they open up. Graduates in these fields can go on to work in corporations, small businesses, and even start their own ventures.

That said, other common fields of study include the Health Sciences (like Nursing, Pre-Med tracks, and Biomedical Sciences), Social Sciences (such as Psychology and Political Science), and the STEM fields, particularly Computer Science and Engineering. These fields also open up a variety of career opportunities, and the degree to which students pursue them can vary quite a bit from school to school, depending on the institution's particular strengths.

It's also important to remember that the "most pursued" degree isn't necessarily the best one for everyone. The best major for any given student will strike a balance between their interests, skills, and career goals. So, while knowing what the popular fields of study are might give you a sense of the landscape, they shouldn't restrict your explorations.
