Which is the most modern college campus in America?

I'm starting to compile a list of colleges to visit over the summer and I was wondering if there are any standout campuses known for being particularly modern. I'm really interested in technology and modern architecture so any recommendations would be great.

As someone deeply involved in the college admissions process, I have come across many colleges that embody a modern aesthetic through their architecture and tech-focused culture, but a few stand out in terms of being particularly modern.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) stands out as one modern and architecturally distinctive campus with its blend of historic and contemporary buildings. The Stata Center, for instance, with its unique design by Frank Gehry, is a renowned symbol of MIT's commitment to innovation.

In addition to MIT, the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) boasts a beautiful campus that balances modern architecture with older, Spanish-style buildings. Their focus on scientific and technological research also makes them a hub of modernity.

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is another campus that might catch your interest, especially if you're into innovative technologies. The Gates and Hillman Centers, specifically, are a testament to the school's modern approach, providing an inspirational setting for their Computer Science Department.

Lastly, the University of Washington, with its recent modern additions such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Center for Computer Science & Engineering, adds a contemporary touch to the campus.

Visiting these campuses could offer a firsthand glimpse into the ways these universities embrace modernity through their campus designs and focus on technological advancement. I'd recommend taking virtual tours beforehand to decide which campuses you'd like to visit in person.
