Looking for the Most Advanced High School in the US. Any candidates?

I'm doing a research project on education and I need to find info about the most advanced high school in the US. 'Advanced' can be in terms of curriculum, technology, teaching approach, etc. Any suggestions?

Identifying the "most advanced" high school is challenging due to many factors. However, certain schools have gained a reputation for demonstrating excellence through unique curriculums, advanced technology use, modern teaching approaches, and success in student outcomes.

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, for example, is considered an extremely advanced high school and consistently ranks among the top high schools in the US. Its curriculum is STEM-focused (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and it offers a broad range of AP classes and college-level coursework in fields like bioinformatics and artificial intelligence. They have an array of research labs, including a neuroscience lab and an oceanography lab.

BASIS Scottsdale in Arizona, whose curriculum emphasizes advanced content in math, science, economics, and humanities, is another example. Starting in elementary school, BASE students begin studying chemistry, physics, and biology separately and have language requirements that go beyond those of most American high schools.

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is a residential public high school that's recognized for its innovative teaching methods. Here, the teaching approach encourages inquiry and problem-solving, focusing on student understanding over rote memorization. They offer a variety of unique programs like the Student Inquiry and Research Program, where students can conduct their own, original research.

Lastly, the School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) in Dallas takes an innovative approach through an extensive curriculum that requires a minimum of 11 AP courses to graduate, and students have the opportunity to take college-level courses from nearby Southern Methodist University.

Keep in mind that all of these schools have different strengths, so what they offer might align differently with different definitions of "advanced." It might be helpful to narrow down what areas of advancement are most important to your research.
