Which college majors are popular among hipsters?

Kind of a random question, but I identify as a bit of a 'hipster' and I'm wondering what majors are popular in that crowd. Are there certain fields of study that tend to attract more hipster students? I'm into a variety of subjects, so any suggestions are welcome.

If we're basing the subjects popular among hipsters on common cultural elements that are often associated with them, then fields related to art, literature, philosophy, and social activism might fit into the picture. Here's a non-exhaustive list:

1. Fine Arts/Music: These align with the emphases on creativity and self-expression. You might be into painting, sculpture, interactive media, or something even more unconventional. Music, particularly indie, alternative, or folk genres, is also a big part of hipster culture.

2. English/Literature: Another degree that lends a lot of creative leeway, and offers the opportunity to study various periods and genres of literature.

3. Philosophy: The culture's propensity for deep conversation may lead hipsters to this major, where they can explore philosophical theories and dilemmas.

4. Environmental Studies: The 'hipster' identity often involves a focus on sustainability and earth-friendly practices, so this might attract students with similar values.

5. Film/Photography: Whether it's a vintage 35mm film camera or making indie films, majoring in these fields will allow you to enhance your technical skills while cranking out your own projects.

6. Social Work/Sociology: Given the kind of progressive thinking and empathy towards disenfranchised groups that are typical of the hipsters, these fields could also be attractive.

Remember, this is all in a bit of fun and stereotyping major choices isn't always useful. The most important thing in choosing a major is to find something you truly find interesting and fulfilling, and not just to follow a trend or preconceived notion of what you "should" study. It's all about finding what personally resonates with you!
