Most popular colleges among Jewish students?

Hey everyone, I am a Jewish high school junior, and I'm starting to look at colleges. I was wondering if anyone knows which colleges are particularly popular among Jewish students? I think having a strong Jewish community on campus would definitely contribute to a positive college experience for me.

Several universities in the US are well-known for having sizeable Jewish student populations and robust Jewish communities on campus, which provide various religious, cultural, and social opportunities.

1. New York University (NYU): NYU's location in New York City provides you with direct access to one of the largest and most active Jewish communities in the world. The university offers a range of Jewish studies courses and has an active Hillel chapter.

2. University of Florida (UF): UF, located in Gainesville, Florida, has a strong Jewish community, with Jewish students making up a significant percentage of the student body. It has a vibrant Hillel and Chabad, which organize regular activities for Jewish students.

3. University of Maryland, College Park (UMD): UMD is known for its large Jewish student population. It houses the Meor Program, which offers Jewish classes and social events, along with Hillel and Chabad.

4. University of Pennsylvania (UPenn): UPenn has a vibrant Jewish community and resources like the Penn Hillel and the Jewish Renaissance Project.

5. Brandeis University: As a nonsectarian Jewish-sponsored college, Brandeis has one of the highest percentages of Jewish students of any university in the country. It provides a wealth of resources for Jewish students, including various student-run organizations centered around Jewish culture and faith.

Beyond religious activities, many of these universities also provide academic programs related to Jewish studies. Be sure to visit the campuses (if possible) and reach out to Jewish student organizations to get a feel for the community.
