Favourite degrees among males?

Hi all. I'm trying to get a sense of what degrees guys typically lean towards in college lately. Are there any that stand out in terms of popularity and career prospects?

Sure, there's a noticeable trend with certain majors being more popular among male students in college. According to recent studies, business-related fields like Business Administration, Finance or Economics often attract a significant number of male students. These specialties offer a wide array of career opportunities in various industries.

STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) also frequently attract male students. Degree disciplines like Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics are also popular among males.

Several vocational fields like Automotive Technology, Welding, and Construction Management are traditionally popular among males too though this too is changing and becoming more gender diverse.

Career-wise, these degrees offer solid prospects. Business degrees, for instance, are highly versatile and can lead to a variety of roles in different business-related fields. STEM degrees, on the other hand, usually offer job opportunities in high-paying sectors like tech, engineering, and research industries.

Remember, these are general trends and the university experience is largely about individual choices. It's important for anyone, regardless of gender, to pursue a field that aligns with their interests, aptitudes, and career goals. The key is discovering what you're passionate about and what you want your future career to look like.
