What's the most reputable college accreditation?

Hi there! I'm trying to understand more about college accreditation. I understand how important it is, but I am unsure about which are the most reputable accrediting bodies. Does anyone have information about this?

That being said, it's also crucial to consider your long-term plans: credits earned at regionally accredited institutions are more widely accepted for transfer, and degrees from these schools are generally more respected by employers and other educational institutions.
