Rankings of the most social liberal arts colleges?

Hey there, I've been considering small liberal arts colleges and one thing that matters a lot to me is having an active social scene—not necessarily partying, but just lots of clubs, events and generally engaged students. Do any of you guys know about the socially active liberal arts colleges out there? Can you recommend any?

Sure, many liberal arts colleges are packed with vibrant social scenes thanks to their engaged student bodies and vast array of clubs and events. Here are a few recommendations based on what I know:

1. Pomona College: Located in Claremont, California, Pomona is part of the Claremont Colleges consortium, and its students mingle with those from the other five colleges in the consortium. They have tons of clubs, organizations, and frequent social events.

2. Swarthmore College: A college known for its engaged student body. The college hosts various events, and the Parrish Beach is a popular congregating spot for students.

3. Amherst College: Amherst, Massachusetts, is known for a diverse array of clubs and organizations. Since it belongs to the Five College Consortium, students also access social scenes at Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

4. Wesleyan University: Found in Middletown, Connecticut, Wesleyan has a highly creative and engaged student body. Their open-campus environment contributes to a vibrant social scene.

5. Bowdoin College: In Brunswick, Maine, Bowdoin's students engage in various clubs and happenings around campus. They have a tradition called Ivies Week, a week-long celebration in spring jammed with concerts and other social activities.

Remember, the best way to get a feel for the community at these colleges would be to talk to current students or alumni and visit the campus, if possible. They'll give the most authentic insight into what daily life and the social scene are like. Also, another tip could be to reach out to clubs and organizations you're interested in to understand how active they are.
