Which are the most stable college degrees?

Hey guys, I’m a junior making the big decisions about what I want to pursue in college. Ideally, I'd like to go for a degree that's likely to be stable in terms of employability and salary after graduation. So, what are some of the most stable college degrees out there? Your advice is appreciated!

Sure thing! When it comes to long-term career stability and strong job prospects, the following fields tend to have a higher demand:

1. Healthcare: Degrees in healthcare, such as Nursing, Medicine, and Pharmacy, offer stability due to the increasing need for healthcare services. A BSc in Nursing often leads to a steady job right after graduation.

2. Computer Science: With our world becoming more digitally driven, jobs in the software and technology industry are always in demand. A degree in Computer Science prepares you for various career paths - software engineering, data analysis, cyber security, and programming.

3. Engineering: This is another broad category, with many specializations each having its advantages. However, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering are generally considered the most secure.

4. Business/Finance: A degree in Business Administration or Finance often leads to stable career paths in marketing, management, investment banking, and more.

However, you should balance stability with your passion and interest. After all, you're going to spend a large portion of your life in that job! As the saying goes: "Choose a job you love, and you'll never work a day in your life."

Make sure to look into each field and degree program thoughtfully, considering its coursework, the kind of jobs it leads to, and check if it aligns well with your skills and interests.
