Which NHL teams have the most players from college?

Yo, does anyone know which NHL teams have the most players who went to college? I'm a passionate hockey player in high school, and was thinking about potentially playing in college, but wasn't sure how this would link to possible pros down the line.

The NHL doesn't often release updated numbers on this topic, and college rosters are constantly fluctuating, so it's challenging to give a definitive answer. However, I can share that as of a few years back, the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Rangers were among the teams with the most college alumni on their roster.

As an aspiring professional, one key aspect to keep in mind is that the path to the pros can be different for everyone, and a successful career in hockey doesn't always follow a linear path. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, and entering the NHL could come from various routes, such as through major juniors, European leagues, or college hockey.

If you do decide to go the college route, NCAA Division I hockey is highly competitive and can provide a gateway to professional hockey, including the NHL. Many current NHL players have chosen to play college hockey to develop their skills, continue their education, and give themselves more time to grow physically before turning professional.

While some of the top college hockey programs include Boston University, University of North Dakota, University of Michigan, and Minnesota State University, keep in mind that coaches and programs that match your style of play are also significant. Your goal should be to play at the highest level you can, where you'll also have a chance to play regularly and develop your skills.

Advancing in your hockey career, whether that be to the pros or merely playing at a higher level, requires dedication, talent, and thousands of hours of hard work but it seems like you're on the right track. Good luck!
