Seeking the Most Beautiful Colleges in Ohio

Hi, all! I'm currently in the process of compiling a list of colleges to apply to and I want to consider everything, including campus aesthetics. I'm curious - in your opinion, which are the most beautiful colleges in Ohio?

Hey there! It's great that you're considering campus aesthetics as a part of your college decision-making process, as it can significantly impact your overall experience. Some may call it a superficial aspect to consider, but I believe that having an environment where you love to study and socialize can be key for some students.

For the UNDISPUTED beautiful campuses in Ohio, many would point toward the College of Wooster. It's known for its beautiful historic buildings and wonderfully green campus with well-groomed lawns, trees, and gardens. The campus truly exudes a classic collegiate charm, and you may appreciate the impressive architecture and serene spaces it offers.

Oberlin College is another campus that often gets rave reviews for its beauty. With its mix of Gothic architecture and cutting-edge modern design, Oberlin’s campus can feel like the best of both worlds. And let's not forget about the 440-acre natural reserve that's located just a mile from campus. You can't beat that if you're a nature lover.

The campus of Miami University, often referred to as the "most beautiful campus that ever there was" by poet Robert Frost, also deserves a mention. It has a classic Midwest university aesthetic. Its red-brick buildings, impressive green spaces, and tree-lined avenues would indeed make you fall for the charm.

Of course, "beauty" is entirely subjective, and what I find impressive and delightful, you might find mediocre. So, I would implore you to take a virtual tour of these campuses, if an in-person visit is not possible. That way, you can experience the campuses for yourself and make an informed decision. Happy hunting!
