One of the coolest things about college is the variety of opportunities and experiences you'll have access to, but those can also conflict. You might find that your academic schedule conflicts with extracurriculars, internships, or unique opportunities, which can make it hard to do everything you're interested in.
Also, managing your own time can be a challenge. In high school, a lot of your day is structured, but in college, it's up to you to structure your time. This can be pretty liberating, but it also requires discipline or you might end up pulling all-nighters before a due date.
Lastly, the housing situation can get tricky in some colleges. Some schools have lottery systems for housing that can leave you on edge about where you're going to live next year, or you may end up in less-than-ideal living situations simply because of luck of the draw.
