US colleges with the most affordable tuition?

Price is a pretty big factor for me when looking at colleges. Could anyone suggest some colleges in the US known for providing quality education while also having affordable tuition? It'd help me a lot in debunking some of the information I've found online.

Many colleges in the U.S. offer quality education with affordable tuition. Here are a few you might want to consider:

1. Berea College in Kentucky: Berea is known for providing full-tuition scholarships to all admitted students, making this a great choice if affordability is a major concern. You do, however, need to work on the campus as part of your tuition agreement.

2. Brigham Young University: For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, tuition fees at this institution are considerably lower. Known for its business and STEM programs, it offers quality education at affordable prices.

3. The City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY) systems: Both these institutions offer affordable tuition for in-state residents, and financial aid options can reduce costs further.

4. State universities in your home state: Often, a great way to receive an affordable education is to take advantage of in-state tuition rates at public universities. Popular options include the University of Florida, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and University of Wisconsin-Madison.

5. Community colleges: Many community colleges in the U.S. offer excellent academic programs at fraction of the cost of large universities. These can be a great option if you're looking to transfer to a 4-year university later on.

Remember to use each college's net price calculator to estimate your actual cost of attendance, keeping in mind the various financial aid opportunities available. Additionally, it's really helpful to file the FAFSA early to maximize your financial aid options.
