Princeton Review 2024 Rankings - Stunning Places to Study?

I was having a look at the Princeton Review's college rankings and came across their 'most beautiful campuses' list. I'm a big nature lover and the aesthetic of the campus is something that's quite important to me. Any views on which colleges truly live up to this reputation and should be on my list?

While it's primarily vital to choose a school based on its academic programs and overall fit with your personality, it's terrific that you're also considering the campus aesthetics - after all, it's the place you'll be spending your next four years!

As per the Princeton Review's list, numerous schools are known for their gorgeous campuses built in harmony with the surrounding nature. A school like Pepperdine University, for instance, is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Spanish-style architecture. Similarly, the University of San Diego campus, built in Spanish Renaissance style, shows off panoramic views of San Diego, the Pacific Ocean, and even Mexico.

Don't overlook East Coast schools either. Schools like Cornell University have unique, idyllic campus sites filled with historical architecture, surrounded by dramatic natural scenery.

Another example is Lewis & Clark College, situated in Portland, Oregon. The campus is spectacularly beautiful, located on the top of Palatine Hill and surrounded by deep forest, offering a stunning view of Mount Hood.

Remember, though, that visiting these campuses can provide a far greater sense of their beauty than any photos or descriptions alone. Try to take a trip if circumstances and resources allow it, or explore virtual tours that many colleges now offer. That said, the aesthetic appeal of a campus can enhance your college experience, but it's also important to consider factors like academic programs, faculty, resources, and campus culture to make sure you'll be happy and successful there. Good luck with your college search!
