Haunted Colleges Riding the Spooky Wave

This may sound a bit quirky but I just read an article by Reader's Digest about the most haunted colleges. I'm spooked and intrigued at the same time. Could this be a real thing? Does it affect life on campus?

While ghosts and the supernatural may not be everyone's cup of tea, there are indeed several universities known for local ghost stories and alleged haunted locations. Whether these tales influence student life can depend largely on the individuals and the local campus culture.

For some students, the presence of ghost stories or eerie legends adds an extra layer of intrigue and mystery to their college experience. Campus ghost tours, for example, can serve as a bonding experience or an unusual part of school orientation.
