Navigating College Apps: Key Components?

Struggling junior here, who else? I'm trying to figure out what the most important parts of a college app are. What components are critical to colleges? Should I focus more on my essays or my extracurriculars? Is my GPA the deal-breaker here?

In the world of college admissions, no single component of your application is singularly critical—it's about the combination and how they all work to paint a picture of who you are as a student and individual. However, I can share some insights about the relative importance of the different parts of your application.
