Hey, all! I'm just a high school junior but I'm already dreaming about college. I was just wondering, based on your experiences or what you've seen, what do most college freshmen look forward to when they start? Any insights would be helpful.

While every individual will have their unique anticipations and dreams, some of the most common things that college freshmen tend to look forward to include:

1. Independence: For many students, college is their first taste of true independence where they get to manage their own time, class schedule, and social activities. This is an exciting transition from high school life which is usually more structured and regulated.

2. New Encounters and Experiences: College campuses are melting pots of different cultures, people, and ideas. The chance to meet new people, make lifelong friends, explore new ideas, and partake in different activities is something a lot of freshers look forward to.

3. Student Life: This includes joining clubs, societies, being part of sports teams, participating in university-wide events, or attending social gatherings. The vibrant student life is often a memorable and rewarding part of the college experience.
