Which colleges have given the NFL its most quarterbacks?

So, was doing my college searches and thought I'd make it interesting. Does anyone know which colleges have developed the most quarterbacks who went on to play in the NFL? I imagine these schools would have solid football programs.

Indeed, there are several colleges that have stood out over the years when it comes to developing NFL quarterbacks. Some of these include:

1. University of Southern California (USC): USC has developed a number of quarterbacks who have made it to the NFL, including prominent names like Carson Palmer, Mark Sanchez, and Sam Darnold.

2. University of Oklahoma: The Sooners have been known for their football prowess, and quarterbacks like Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray have carried that tradition to the NFL.

3. University of California, Berkeley (Cal): Cal's football program has sent several quarterbacks to the NFL, such as Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff.

4. University of Alabama: Alabama's recent success under Nick Saban has seen quarterbacks like Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones transitioning into the NFL.

5. Louisiana State University (LSU): LSU has developed a variety of NFL-ready quarterbacks, including Joe Burrow who was the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

6. University of Miami (The U): Known for their rich football history, the Hurricanes have given the NFL quarterbacks like Vinny Testaverde and Bernie Kosar.

7. Purdue University: Known as the "Cradle of Quarterbacks," Purdue has produced more starting NFL quarterbacks than any other university, including Len Dawson, Bob Griese, and Drew Brees.

These schools have indeed proven themselves in developing excellent quarterbacks for the NFL. However, your choice of college should rely on more than just this aspect - you should also consider the educational programs, campus culture, and other extracurricular opportunities these institutions may offer.
