Trying to find colleges that dish out lots of aid

Hey everyone, bit of a financial question here. I'm hoping to attend a college that's known for giving out a good amount of financial aid. Does anyone know of any such colleges? Any help would be appreciated!

Many colleges are known for their generous financial aid programs. Ivy League colleges, for instance, offer exceptionally good need-based financial aid programs.

Harvard, for example, offers full tuition, room, and board to students from families earning less than $85,000 per year. Families earning between $85,000 and $150,000 pay only a small percentage of their income. Yale and Princeton have similar policies.

In addition to Ivy Leagues, many other highly selective colleges also have strong financial aid programs. For instance, MIT, Duke, and Stanford all meet 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students.

Ohio-based Oberlin College is known for providing a large percentage of its students with merit-based scholarships. Moreover, many liberal arts colleges, such as Williams College and Amherst College, meet full demonstrated need as well.

Please note that these colleges are highly competitive, and you'll need a strong application to get accepted. They tend to use a need-blind admissions policy, which means they do not consider an applicant's financial situation during the admissions process.

Check out each school's net price calculator on their website for an estimate of what your family might be expected to pay. Remember that every college calculates financial need a little differently, so it's always a good idea to apply for aid even if you think you may not qualify.
