Colleges with Most On-Campus Residents?

Hello! I'm in the process of exploring colleges and I wanted to know, which college has the highest number of students living on campus? I'm trying to figure out what kind of college experience I want, and this might factor into it.

Some colleges have a higher percentage of students living on campus due to housing policies or cultural norms. Here are a few schools known for having a large portion of their student population living on campus:

1. Harvard University: Harvard has a strong emphasis on residential living, with about 98% of undergraduates living on campus. This is largely due to their House System, where students live in houses with their own dining halls, libraries, and social spaces, creating a tight-knit community.

2. Stanford University: Approximately 97% of undergraduates live on campus. Stanford offers a variety of on-campus housing options including dorms, apartments, and cooperative houses.

3. Yale University: Similar to Harvard, Yale has a residential college system that fosters a sense of belonging and community. About 87% of students live on campus.

However, remember that a high proportion of students living on campus doesn't automatically translate to a vibrant campus life. There are several factors like the availability of social events, sports, clubs etc., that contribute to a good college experience. Conversely, while some schools might have a lower proportion of students living on campus, they might still offer a rich array of campus activities and community engagements. It's all about finding the right fit for you!
