What are the most taught science classes in high school?

Hey, I'm scheduling my classes for next year and I'm wondering what the most commonly taught science classes in high school are? I've taken Bio and Chem so far, but I'm undecided about what to take next year. Any suggestions?

The most commonly taken science classes in high school are usually Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. By now, you've already used up two of the three, which is fantastic.

Physics is generally the next step after completing Biology and Chemistry. It introduces you to concepts like motion, electricity, light, and elementary quantum mechanics. This course could be valuable if you're leaning towards a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) career. Some schools also offer Advanced Placement (AP) Physics, which will get you college credit if you score high enough on the AP exam.

There are also several advanced science classes you may consider. If you enjoyed Biology, you could take AP Biology, which delves more deeply into the topics you’ve already learned. AP Chemistry is another option if you're interested in chemistry. Environmental Science is another interesting course, focusing on various aspects of natural and human-influenced ecosystems.

Sometimes, schools offer specialized science classes such as Anatomy, Astronomy, or Earth Science. It might be worth talking with your academic advisor to see what's available at your school! Remember, it's important to choose a class that fits with your interests and career goals, not just what is commonly taken.
