Record for College Classes Taken in a Semester?

This might be a weird question but does anyone know what's the most classes a person has taken in a single semester of college? Just a bit of trivia I've been curious about for some reason haha.

The number of courses a student can take in a single semester largely depends on the college's policies and the student's circumstances. Typically, a full-time student will take 4-5 classes per semester, with an average course load of 12-15 credit hours.

However, some highly driven students may choose to overload their course schedules to graduate early, take on dual majors, or pursue other academic goals. In such cases, they might take up to 6-7 classes or around 18-21 credit hours per semester, but usually, they must obtain special permission from their academic advisor or the college's dean to do so.

Remember, the ideal number of classes largely depends on the individual student's needs and capabilities, as well as the specific requirements of their degree program. It's always advisable to strike a balance between academic rigor and personal wellness.
