Princeton Residential Colleges

So I'm looking into Princeton and I'm curious about their residential colleges. Is there one residential college in particular that has the most students in it?

Princeton University has six residential colleges: Rockefeller, Mathey, Butler, Wilson, Whitman, and Forbes. Each of these residential colleges serves as a close-knit community and offers a unique experience to first-year students and sophomores, with juniors and seniors having the option to remain affiliated.

As of the current arrangement, no specific residential college at Princeton houses significantly more students than the others. The capacity of these colleges varies but not to an extreme extent. Each residence interacts with approximately 500 students, for a total of about 3000 undergraduates participating in the residential college system.

However, to provide accurate numbers, the university's residential assignments change yearly; new construction, renovations, or changes in the student population can lead to changes in the capacity of each residential college. It's best to confirm these details by contacting Princeton's housing office directly or checking their official website for updates related to housing placements.

Moreover, all of these residential colleges at Princeton offer unique features and layouts. For example, Whitman and Butler have been known for their beautiful, newer Collegiate Gothic-style architecture, while Forbes situates in the former Princeton Inn, giving it a unique character.

It's also important to remember that where you live in your first few years at Princeton won't hugely influence your college experience. It's more about the people you meet, the experiences you have, and the opportunities you seize.
