High-end Living - Which College Has the Most Expensive Dorm?

Hey guys, was just daydreaming about potential college life and ended up on the topic of dorms. Some of these college dorms seem super fancy and probably carry a hefty price tag. So, does anyone know which college takes the prize having the most expensive dorm?

New York City colleges tend to have high room and board fees, largely due to the high cost of living in the area. With that said, Columbia University typically tops the list when it comes to expensive dorms. As an Ivy League institution located in one of the most expensive cities in the world, Columbia's housing costs are indeed steep. Yearly room and board fees are typically over $15,000, and can be even higher for certain housing options.

However, remember that high costs don't necessarily translate to high living standards. Many of the buildings on older campuses such as Columbia can be a little dated. It’s also worth mentioning how financial aid can factor into things. High costs might be offset by a generous financial aid package, especially as Columbia is one of the few need-blind colleges that commits to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students.

Remember that costs can vary significantly even within the same school based on the specific dormitory, room type (single, double, etc.), and meal plan selected. Always take the time to research and compare housing options at each of your potential schools.
