Degree Difficulty: Opinions Needed

In your experience or opinion, what's the most challenging college degree? I'm not afraid of hard work, but it might help to know what I could potentially be up against. Any and all thoughts are welcome!

The "most challenging" college degree can vary greatly depending on personal strengths and interests. If you're naturally gifted in science and math, then perhaps a humanities-focused degree like History or English Literature may be challenging due to the heavy emphasis on critical reading and essay writing. Similarly, if you thrive in humanities and struggle with quantitative reasoning, then pursuing a degree in Physics or Engineering may be your greatest challenge.

It's also important to note that individual programs at specific universities may pose unique challenges. For example, Engineering at MIT or a Pre-Med track at Johns Hopkins is generally considered to be very demanding due to the rigorous curriculum and competitive nature of these programs.

Degrees in the healthcare field, such as Nursing or Medicine, are often cited as being particularly difficult due to the combination of demanding coursework, intense practicals, and often, emotionally challenging work placements.
