High School Diversity in VA

Hey all, I'm doing a bit of research for a project and was wondering if anybody knew which high school in Arlington, VA is considered the most diverse and why. Any info would be great!

There are a number of high schools in Arlington, VA, each with its own level of diversity. If you're seeking the most diverse school, one common method of determining diversity is to look at both racial/ethnic distribution and socio-economic indicators.

For racial and ethnic diversity, Wakefield High School stands out. According to U.S. News & World Report, its student body shows a relatively balanced racial and ethnic distribution. The school is roughly 45% Hispanic, 26% White, 19% Black, and 7% Asian, and the remainder identifies as multiracial or other.

In addition to race and ethnicity, socioeconomic diversity can be gauged by looking at the percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, as well as the ranges of reported family incomes.

However, diversity isn't just defined by race or socio-economic status, but also by a wide range of other factors such as languages spoken at home, cultural backgrounds, and more.

For more specific details, you might want to visit the Arlington Public Schools website or directly contact the individual schools to request their student demographic and diversity data. Keep in mind that while statistics can provide useful information, they may not paint the entire picture of a school's diversity.
