In my experience, many students find it challenging to navigate the difference between high school and college academic environments. College curriculums are often more rigorous, and professors expect a higher level of self-motivation and initiative from students. There is often far less hand-holding and fewer reminders of due dates and assignments than you may be used to in high school.
