Which colleges have substantial NFL draft success?

I'm looking to combine football with my education. Can anybody guide me to colleges that consistently have students drafted into the NFL? I'm focusing on recruitment for 2024.

Certainly, if seeking the path to the NFL draft is a significant factor for you, here are some colleges to consider:

- University of Alabama: Known for its Crimson Tide football program, Alabama has a history of consistently high NFL draft selections. This is primarily because of their successful program under Coach Nick Saban.

- Ohio State University: The Buckeyes are another program that consistently produces NFL-quality players. High-profile past selections include Ezekiel Elliott and Joey Bosa.

- University of Notre Dame: With a significant number of players getting drafted in the past, Notre Dame often sends its players to the pros. Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey are among the recent first-round draft picks.

- Clemson University: Clemson has been a major contender on the national stage for the last few years. As a result, they've had a solid presence in the drafts, with standouts like Trevor Lawrence and Isaiah Simmons.

- University of Oklahoma: The Sooner football program also regularly sends players to the NFL. Note though that they will be joining the Southeastern Conference (SEC), from the 2025 season which increases their competition level.

- Louisiana State University (LSU): Consistently competitive, several LSU Tigers have moved on to the NFL, including Odell Beckham Jr. and Patrick Peterson.

You should know, while these colleges have had success with NFL drafts, this should complement rather than overshadow your academic and personal fit with the school. Consider the schools' academic programs, culture, and location in your decision, too. At the end of the day, you would be spending four years at the institution and thus should think beyond just football.
