Favorite Part about High School

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well. I'm trying to savor all these high school experiences before graduation. I'm curious, what exhibit, event, class, or experience have you most enjoyed during your high school years?

Certainly high school memories are quite cherished by many. For some, an engaging class might be one of the most fulfilling experiences. For instance, you may have a particularly inspiring English teacher who ignited your love for literature. This could have culminated in a deep dive into discussing To Kill a Mockingbird, and your resulting appreciation for Harper Lee’s subversion of societal norms.

For others, high school events like prom, homecoming, or cultural festivals might be their favorite. These communal events bring the whole student body together, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience. A highlight might be the time when you and your friends decorated the gymnasium for homecoming with your chosen theme, or perhaps an amazing dance number your class prepared for a cultural festival.

Extracurricular activities also often play a significant role in forming fond high school memories. Whether it's the winning shot you made for your varsity team, leading your Model UN team to victory, or performing a solo at the spring concert, these accomplishments are often revered for the amount of preparation, diligence, and teamwork they required.

Whatever your personal favorite high school memory is, remember to treasure these experiences. They often serve to shape your interests and passions, influencing the courses you wish to pursue in college, your career, and beyond.
