Furthermore, we cannot disregard Snapchat, which has remained popular among high school students due to its unique features, such as its disappearing messages and the ability to share Snapchat Stories with a circle of friends. It offers more privacy, which is a big draw for many students.
Lastly, Twitter remains a popular choice for students who are interested in following news and trends and engaging in debates or discussions on various topics. However, Twitter isn't quite as predominantly used by high schoolers as Instagram or TikTok.
Remember that while many students enjoy these platforms, social media habits can vary a lot from student to student. For example, gamers might use Twitch or Discord more than the ones I mentioned here. Some might also predominantly use YouTube for both entertainment and education.
