Impressive Graduating High School Students of 2024

As a fellow junior, I'm curious if anyone knows of other students doing something really impressive with themselves this year? Who are some of the most noteworthy high school graduates of 2024 and what are they known for?

While we must respect the privacy of individual students and can't name names, we can certainly share the kind of achievements that place graduating seniors in the 'noteworthy' category.

1. Some students have dedicated substantial time to scientific research and have earned recognition at local and national levels. In the past, high school students have been recognized for their work in areas like biomedical engineering, environmental science, and computer science. Recently, many are tackling pressing global concerns such as COVID-19, climate change, and AI.

2. Student activists and social entrepreneurs have made an impact in their communities or on a broader scale. They've launched non-profit organizations, created apps or products to solve community problems, or used social media platforms to mobilize others around a cause.

3. Exceptional musical, artistic, and theatrical talent is always noteworthy. Students who produce interesting or successful books comics, songs and albums, or other pieces of art can draw attention.

4. Athletes who excel in their sports and have committed to competing at the Division 1 level in college also commonly catch public attention. You might have heard of some star basketball and football players from high schools nationally who have already signed to big-name colleges.

Remember, these are just some examples, and there are countless ways to be impressive or noteworthy in high school. The key is usually a combination of passion, dedication, and using one's skills to make a positive impact.
