Easiest degrees: opinions?

In terms of workload and complexity, which degrees do you guys feel are on the ‘easier’ side? I'd still value learning something applicable to real-life or job market. Appreciate your thoughts.

It's important to note upfront that what seems 'easy' or 'hard' can depend enormously on your individual interests, strengths, and working style. What some might find smooth sailing, others could view as treacherously difficult, and vice versa.

That said, there are some common perceptions about certain programs having more manageable workloads that could be worth noting. However, remember that an 'easier' degree may not necessarily result in career prospects that align with your particular goals.

Many seem to consider Communication or Business Administration degrees 'easier' as they often offer more flexibility, fewer technical complexities, and tend to be more generalist than specialist in nature. They also equip you with transferrable skills, such as presentation skills and team project experience, that employers often value.

Another is the Liberal Studies degree. This can be less rigid and gives you the opportunity to explore a broad range of subjects from humanities to social sciences, meaning you can mold your journey based on what you find most engaging.

In the end, the 'easiest' degree will be one aligned with your talents and interests, where the time and effort required seem 'worth it' because you are stimulated and engaged. So, keep exploring, and try to connect your education with your long-term career goals and personal development.
