Help with AP Art History Score Conversion

Hello all, I'm going to be taking the AP Art History test and I'm trying to predict my score. Does anyone know of a good score calculator or a table for predicting scores?

Hello! Predicting your AP Art History score isn't as straightforward as it might seem. The AP Score is not just a sum of the points you’ve earned on the test, it's a more complex calculation that takes into account the entire distribution of scores on the test. This score is later converted into a scale of 1-5.

However, to get a kind of rough estimation of your scores you can definitely use a grade calculator online, but I'd advise you to take it with a grain of salt as CollegeBoard does not follow a consistent pattern every year due to changes in difficulty levels of the test.

Here is a rough idea of the distribution of scores:

- An AP score of 5 is usually equivalent to an A in the corresponding college course.

- A score of 4 corresponds to an A-, B+ or B in college.

- A score of 3 is approximately equivalent to a B-, C+ or C in college.

- If you score a 2, that's usually similar to a C-, D+, or D.

- And a score of 1 is equivalent to a D- or lower in the relevant college course.

In the end, you'll receive your official score in July, so you're not too far off from knowing your actual score. Good luck!
