Colleges with Army ROTC Programs?

I'm a junior considering joining the Army after college. Which colleges would you recommend that have strong ROTC programs?

There are many colleges across the U.S. with solid Army ROTC programs. Here are some worth considering:

1. University of Virginia: The UVA Army ROTC program has a long history, dating back to 1948 and offers a variety of scholarships and programs. This program has a reputation for producing dynamic and adaptive leaders.

2. Georgetown University: This university has a cooperative program with Howard University, which is known as the Hoya Battalion, and is consistently recognized as one of the top Army ROTC programs in the country.

3. The University of North Georgia: Known as the Military College of Georgia, its program includes rigorous military education as part of the curriculum.

4. University of Michigan: The Wolverine Battalion is in the top 15% of Army ROTC programs in the nation. It ranks high due to its devoted cadre, strong curriculum and the quality of the Cadets it commissions.

5. Norwich University: As the birthplace of the ROTC program, Norwich University in Vermont offers a Corps of Cadets program which can be combined with Army ROTC.

6. Virginia Tech: Known as the Hokie Battalion, the program at Virginia Tech is part of the College of Military Sciences, which includes programs for all service branches and a Corps of Cadets.

These are just a few examples of the strong Army ROTC programs at colleges across the country, but there are plenty of other options out there depending on your preferred area of study, size and location of the school, scholarships available, etc. Be sure to consider these factors as well when deciding which program will fit you best.
